Wedding Photography venue examples in the Bay Area and Santa Cruz

Mike and Vanessa are the true example of a loving connection. You can just see how each of them are wild for the other. And Mike. The true gentleman for sure. Vanessa – so sweet and loving and kind to all from the big to the small.

This was seriously a wedding I couldn’t stop laughing and having a great time – especially at the reception! It is hard to narrow down those photos to which ones I blog! But alas, I had to narrow it down. The couple got sooo many fun candids from it.

Their vows were sweet and I couldn’t help but to shed a tear.

Los Altos History Museum was a lovely venue with an amazing courtyard!

Enjoy these photos from prep to finish! I enjoyed working with them a ton! 2016-07-05_0020.jpg

When I asked Christal + Charles what they love about each other I just couldn’t stop smiling. Top of the line she said his eyes! The second was they never argue but treat each other with respect. And third (one of my personal favorites) is they love to LAUGH all the time and love to smile!

And their love story is just the sweetest thing!

They were so easy going, BEAUTIFUL, patient, relaxed, and just totally made for each other! Their wedding at Hecker Pass Winery was perfect and the weather was amazing. The perfect day in May!

And wow! They had one of the best most unique groom/men entrance I have ever seen! They all came in on their motoX bikes before they walked up to the ceremony! It was perfect! The stage at Hecker Pass Winery was perfect for that!

The tented areas and indoor area provided the perfect balance for an indoor/outdoor event. And the food was DE-LISH!

Frost Cupcake Factory provided dessert which was equally YUM!

Charles + Christal I loved working for you! It was a pleasure and I am so thrilled you loved your photos! 2015-06-19_0004.jpg

I met Ryan and Lauren together in a Starbucks in Cupertino after she inquired about my services. I was excited to meet them and talk to them about their big day! When they chose me I was thrilled!

After their engagement photos at a park in Cupertino, the countdown began for the big day! Even though I moved away to Sacramento, it didn’t matter since I do weddings all over California 🙂

Before the wedding, she had set out to get in shape for the wedding. Usually this means, go to the gym a few times, get tone, etc, etc. But Lauren dedicated herself – and lost an amazing 70 pounds!! She looks amazing but not only that, she has more energy and her health is imporoved! I was so proud of her and it was such an awesome sight for family and friends that haven’t seen her in a while! That was a grand reveal for sure!

Ryan and Lauren are truly meant for each other. They balance each other out so well and they realize this – Ryan is the gentle soul and she is the social go-getter. I always believe that opposites do attract because two opposites make a complete whole and it just works together. In marriage, you need strengths to fill the other’s weaknesses…and vise versa. Once you realize this, you can have compassion on each others weakness and fall in love even more.

It’s just like a company needing different employees with different strengths. If all employees were the same robot of a person, there would be something missing.

I loved their details and how they arranged everything at Los Gatos Lodge. The food was great and the staff were very kind and accomodating.

I just adored the candids I captured from this wedding. So sweet. Their family is so tight knit.

Enjoy these images and huge thanks to the vendors a part of this wedding!

This wedding was gorgeous by all means. Karissa wanted to have an indoor/outdoor wedding because of course, in the summer, it can be hot. The ceremony was inside The Point Church in San Jose, CA. The venue itself was on top of a hill in Evergreen area and overlooked the whole city. It is an amazing spot. The inside of the church is HUGE (to accommodate their large guest list) and the outdoor patio for the reception was really in the perfect location. The sun set in the right place and illuminated the sky with beautiful colors.

She chose a color scheme that I love – pink and navy blue with other delicate details of lace, silver, and diamonds. The dessert bar was to die for. The DJ was one of the best. The flowers were delicate and beautiful. The bridal party was a blast to hang out with! All together it was an event to remember.

Most of her family and friends pitched in together to create each beautiful detail with care. You could tell they love them so much!

One of my favorite moments is when Karissa’s daughter (and flower girl) was playing around in Karissa’s veil while John kissed her…so special…and…kind of a real picture of what it is like to have young children 🙂

I also just adore when the father of the bride is also a pastor – he gave her away AND gave a lovely and heart warming message customized to his daughter, Karissa as John took her hand from him. My own father is a pastor and did the same for me so it was a blast to my past ten years ago.

One sentence can sum it up: a fun a beautiful and heart warming wedding that was full of memories, laughs, and love.

Congrats to you John & Karissa! May your life be full of love together for the rest of your lives!
