Wedding Photography venue examples of barn and vineyard locations around Sacramento including Lodi, Amador county and Elk Grove like McConnell Estate Winery and Wilson Vineyard

This was such a love-filled wedding with special touches and personal stories. It was almost like walking through a storybook of their lives together and what is to come.

Mnoza and Amanda met during a mission trip to Africa. There was a special orphanage there where they served together. It was the perfect match because if Amanda was to continue missionary trips, it was to be with someone who did the same and had a huge passion for it.

The theme of the wedding was Where in the World because their future together was to travel to different countries to serve the Lord in different places. And of course, how they met was pretty out of this world ๐Ÿ™‚

The way Mnoza looked at her was so precious. And the way he cried during the ceremony just showed his heart for her. It was a touching moment. Their vows were so personal that there was not a dry eye in the area! Phew! It was hard to focus! ๐Ÿ™‚

The reception was so fun filled. The personal stories kept coming. And then the party started! It was time to exit – with bubbles! That looks so nice with the right kind of light I have.

Congrats to Mnoza and Amanda! It was a blast to serve you!

This was my first undercover job – for real! And it was so fun to do!

Ian had hired me to be sneaky and do some undercover work. The lovely ladies at McConnell Winery in Elk Grove arranged to say that I was doing some “website” photo updates so it wasn’t too obviously that I was around with a camera. I stayed at a distance capturing them with my super long range lens and then turning to pretend to capture other photos of their building and details.

They had set up a lovely table as a “prop” but ended up being where they sat to talk about the possibilities of McConnell being a venue for their “one day” wedding.

Then, once the signal was given, I kept my camera in their direction, and watch and captured as he dropped to a knee and proposed! It was the sweetest thing and of course she said yes!

We moved right into a mini engagement session for them. Ian did so well putting this whole thing together for her. He definitely went above and beyond for his love!

I met Kelsy when I did her college senior photos. It was connection from the beginning the moment I asked, do you mind if we did some shots in the water? Haha! Unfortunately, we didn’t find a way down there, but it was still a memorable session. I was THRILLED when later she asked me to do her wedding! Woohoo! And it was a country wedding…with HAYRIDES to the ceremony?! Yes please!! ๐Ÿ™‚

Matt and Kelsy met at California Family Fitness when they both worked there. Matt has a mild case of Tourettes and she thought he was a “creep” just trying to wink at her. But when she found out this was not the case at all, it was the chemistry that bound them deep together into history.

Kelsy loves his ability to make everything fun and funny. His free spirit brings the adventurous side out of her. And not to mention he has a warm heart and eyes winking for her alone ๐Ÿ˜‰

Matt adores her button nose and unwavering ability to care deeply for him. She goes waaaay out of her way to make him happy and it shows.

There were so many personal touches at the wedding ceremony and reception. Cowboy boots for the girls! My highlight was the AMAZING ceremony view and the hayrides for guests to the tippy top of the hill for the big moment. They had a HUGE bridal party which didn’t let any moment go by without a laugh and a smile.

We had a bridemaids “First Look” and a bride and groom one too!

The reception was a fun party – truly a celebration. And when the first dances went into a montage dance off with the bride and groom, I lost it! Hilarious!

Kelsy + Matt it was an honor to be your photographer. When I asked Christal + Charles what they love about each other I just couldn’t stop smiling. Top of the line she said his eyes! The second was they never argue but treat each other with respect. And third (one of my personal favorites) is they love to LAUGH all the time and love to smile!

And their love story is just the sweetest thing!

They were so easy going, BEAUTIFUL, patient, relaxed, and just totally made for each other! Their wedding at Hecker Pass Winery was perfect and the weather was amazing. The perfect day in May!

And wow! They had one of the best most unique groom/men entrance I have ever seen! They all came in on their motoX bikes before they walked up to the ceremony! It was perfect! The stage at Hecker Pass Winery was perfect for that!

The tented areas and indoor area provided the perfect balance for an indoor/outdoor event. And the food was DE-LISH!

Frost Cupcake Factory provided dessert which was equally YUM! http://www.frostcupcakefactory.com/

Charles + Christal I loved working for you! It was a pleasure and I am so thrilled you loved your photos! 2015-06-19_0004.jpg

I met Liz and Kolton and there was an instant connection. It’s always so lovely when you hear a bride say, “I made up my mind before I even asked any questions!” I knew that I was really excited to give them exactly what they were hoping for.

The whole event was really relaxed, fun, and easy. I really adored all of the truly DIY touches on everything. From the recycle wood painting for guests to sign, to self-made floral arrangements (seriously amazing!) everything really flowed well together.

I just love it when I get two angles of “THE KISS”…yet another reason why all of my wedding packages include a second photographer for the ceremony.

Congrats to Kolton & Liz! I am so excited and blessed and honored to have worked with you!
