I recently moved into a space that give me a beautiful natural light studio and office where I can do all of my newborns and headshots as well as edit with good lighting. Good bye laptop! Good bye travelling with all my newborn blankets and props!
I had a lovely friend, who happens to have an organizing business, help me out. Meet Sarah.
She came in an assessed the situation, took tons of notes, and explained back to me my different “stations”. I needed a computer area, a print packing area, a studio area, and prop area. All together while supplying a sitting space for clients.
I happened to score a teal couch recently which helps give a pop of color. Love!
After a little bit of time she emailed me a FULL REPORT of what products/furniture I could buy (each with different price points and options). She explained how I could arrange them and even drew out a plan for the room. Ahh it made so much sense since I am not really a good organizer.
After some trips to IKEA I think I almost have everything down. Today, I still have a few things to do and organize but I feel so good knowing that my space is functional, and cute and easy! I couldn’t have done it without her!
